The following is a list of departure dates, and dates for scheduled day trips, which provide the opportunity to join an existing tour.

Short tours


February 6-11, 2004 Kruger and Mpumalanga Escarpment

This trip focusses primarily on the endemic-rich Forests and Montane Grassland of the Mpumalanga Escarpment, but also includes a sampling of the Kruger National Park, and the superb arid woodland of the Pienaar's river valley in Southern Limpopo Province. Itinerary and price on request

February 28 - March 1 2004 Gauteng and Surrounds

This trip provides an opportunity to see a huge number of bird species, fine scenery and some great mammals - all within 90 minutes of Johannesburg/Pretoria. Areas visited include highveld grasslands in North-eastern Gauteng, Woodland in the Seringveld (Dinokeng), superb arid woodland in the Pienaars River Valley and the diverse and wild Borakolalo National Park, with it's Parrots, Sandgrouse, Eagles and Kingfishers. June 2-5, 2004 Dinokeng and Wakkerstroom

This is a four day trip which focusses on the superb birding in the Wakkerstroom area, which is perhaps the best locality for a range of grassland endemics such as Blue Korhaan, Rudd's Lark and Ground Woodpecker. The tour also includes a day in the species rich Dinokeng Woodland, where you will see a completely different range of birds from that present around Wakkerstroom, including Hornbills, Barbets, Kingfishers and Shrikes.
